The dissertation is a study of a 5th-century Armenian translation of The Art of Grammar attributed to the Hellenistic grammarian Dionysius Thrax (170 - 90 B.C.).  This important work of Adontz was translated and edited, with additional scholarly notes, by the great philologist P.
